Our approximately 350 employees make the difference and make E. WINKEMANN a vital and modern company. With a lot of passion, commitment, specific know how and skills as well as creativity they are the key of the success of our company.
E. WINKEMANN stands for safety and future, and people enjoy working for us. It is not without cause that we celebrate numerous anniversaries. Most of our employees have been with us for more than 15 years, and anniversaries of more than 30 years are not uncommon. Our employees have been with us since the beginning of their apprenticeship.
In the event of an increased workload, we also use temporary staffing to supplement our workforce. If the need persists, we regularly offer to take on temporary workers as part of our own staff after 12 months of employment, provided they are suitable.
Qualified employees are the basis for a successful company. E. WINKEMANN trains various professions in-house. We employ our apprentices after their successful examination, even before a takeover obligation had been included by the labour agreement.
The continuous development of our employees is very important to us. We literally "value it" and invest a 6-digit amount annually in internal and external qualification measures and further trainings for our employees. The continuing education program is prepared once a year and includes a wide range of seminars and training courses for all areas of the company.

Work where others spend their vacation
The four-valley-town Plettenberg is idyllic located in the western part of Märkisches Sauerland and a popular holiday destination for hikers and other mountain sports enthusiasts. The wooden landscapes Lennegebirge in the north and Ebbegebirge in the south of the town invite you to go on nice tours with your mountain bike or trekking boots - or, if the weather is suitable, with your cross-country skis or sled.
In addition, the Oestertal lake and other lakes in neighboring towns offer many opportunities for nature experiences and sporting activities of various kinds.
Also, very popular is Plettenberg's Aquamagis leisure pool, which has become famous for its many spectacular slides far beyond the city. A little more traditional, but also more lively, are the numerous 'Schützenfeste' in the town's districts, which are a regular meeting place for old friends and new acquaintances, and not just for locals.
