Toolmaking

Tool quality is one of the major preconditions for trouble-free, efficient production of stamped parts. The toolroom at E. Winkemann produces tools of the highest precision.

The toolmaking and design department is equipped, amongst others, with the following:

	2D and 3D CAD systems for tool design CAM aided.
	CNC erosion, drilling, milling and jig grinding machines.

The exchange of design data is effected in IGES or DXF format. Progressive, composite, bending, stamping or combination tools are available for the production of approx. 6.000 different articles.
